FILE	TYPE	Created using	OPERATION PULSE demonstrates generation of a timing interval at an output using compare mode. The required count is preloaded into the compare register and the timer runs until the count matches the compare value. An interrupt is then generated, a 1ms pulse generated at the output, and the timer restarted. The output is in the audio range, so can be monitored on a sounder, which outputs via the host PC speaker. It is also displayed on the virtual scope. The frequency is varied using the up/down buttons.
